If your Bridal Portrait is to appear in the newspaper the day after your wedding, a bridal session must be taken weeks prior to have a print ready for the newspaper.  A Bridal session is a great time to casually see how your gown and accessories appear.  This type of portrait is not as popular as it had been in the past.  Many of the Brides today would prefer to use a candid taken during the wedding day of both the bride and groom instead of a formal portrait of the bride alone.
